One of the subscriptions I'm going to keep this year is The Mailbox and the Mailbox Companion. Each issue has selection of printables and lesson plan ideas (choose your grade level subscription). One of my favorite printables is the monthly calendar. I love assembling this with my children. It is a great way to teach or review: the calendar, days of the week, numerals 1-31, holidays, and weather.
